Key Stage 4 Examination Pathways
At Courtlands School, we are committed to providing a broad and inclusive curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our learners. Our Key Stage 4 exam pathways are designed to offer accessible and meaningful qualifications that support progression into further education, training, or employment.
Students at Courtlands School follow a personalised pathway that may include a combination of the following qualifications:

GCSEs: Where appropriate, students are entered for GCSE subjects to challenge and extend their academic potential.

Entry Level Certificates: These provide a foundation for learners who benefit from a more supported approach to subject content and assessment.

Functional Skills: Offered in English, Mathematics, and ICT, these qualifications focus on practical application of core skills in everyday contexts and are available from Entry Level to Level 2.
