Well-being day went well!

Well-being Day: A Positive Start to the Term

Our students enjoyed a fantastic Well-being Day at the school and at the local leisure centre, taking part in a range of activities designed to support their mental health, physical wellbeing and mindfulness. Working in their tutor groups, students rotated through artbowling, a calming sound bath, yoga and an energetic kickboxing session, giving everyone the chance to try something new and take part at their own pace.

The day provided a really positive return to school, allowing students to reconnect with one another, build confidence and enjoy being active together in a supportive environment. Each activity encouraged teamwork, self-regulation and healthy movement, while also offering moments of calm and reflection.

This was exactly what we all need at the start of a new term, an opportunity to reset, refocus and set both minds and bodies up positively for the year ahead. It was wonderful to see students engaging so well and embracing the importance of wellbeing, health and shared experiences.
